Adore Home Living's Rockingham showroom is at Rockingham Central on Council Avenue, directly across the road from the Rockingham Centre. We're next door to Kitchen Warehouse & Weber. The showroom is one of the furniture stores in Rockingham where you can see fabric and leather lounges, recliners and theatre seating, dining tables, chairs and buffets, TV units, mirrors, wall art and lighting. Styles run from contemporary to classic. You can sit and recline before deciding, compare pieces side by side, and work through sizes, coverings and layouts with our team.
Getting to Our Rockingham Showroom
Driving and Parking
Rockingham Central is a large-format retail centre on a corner site on Council Avenue. The Rockingham Centre, with Kmart, Woolworths and rebel, is directly across the road. Inside Rockingham Central, The Good Guys, Anytime Fitness and Zambrero are among the neighbours, and Kitchen Warehouse & Weber is right next door to us.
Drivers from Kwinana, Baldivis and Secret Harbour all reach Council Avenue from Ennis Avenue. From Kwinana, the usual route is Gilmore Ave and then Dixon Rd. From Baldivis or the Kwinana Freeway, take Mundijong Rd/Kulija Rd through to Dixon Rd, or come in on Safety Bay Rd instead.
Parking is free, both in the Rockingham Central car park and on the street, and there are accessible bays.
By Train and Bus
Rockingham Station is on the Mandurah line. From Platform 5 (stop 23786), catch bus 557 towards Warnbro Station. Get off five stops later at Council Av Before Read St, which is right by the showroom. Routes 558 and 559 also run between the station and that stop. Check Transperth before you travel for current timetables.
Accessibility
The showroom has an accessible entrance, accessible parking, seating and an accessible toilet, plus a hearing loop. If you'd like somewhere to sit while you talk through options, or need anything else to make the visit easier, let the team know when you arrive.
What You Can Do in the Showroom
Sit, Recline and Compare Couches
Specs tell you a lounge's depth and height, but not how it feels after twenty minutes. Sit the way you would at home: lean back, tuck your feet up, and run any recliner through its full movement. Try two or three couches one after another so you feel the difference in firmness and depth instead of relying on memory. This matters most if you're tall or short, or buying for more than one person, because seat depth and arm height suit bodies differently.
Check the measurements against your room before you settle on a piece.
Get Styling Advice From Our Team
Our team offers styling advice in store. That can mean which dining chairs suit a table, how a lounge colour works with your carpet or flooring, or what size of mirror or wall art suits the wall you have in mind. It helps most when you're matching new pieces to things you're keeping, or pulling a whole room together.
The limit is light, so look at a fabric or timber in more than one part of the showroom before you decide. Photos of your space help, but they don't fully capture your light either.
Book a Design Consultation
Consider a design consultation for a bigger job, such as furnishing a new home or reworking an open-plan living and dining area. You can arrange one in store, at your home or by phone. It suits you if you'd rather plan the whole space than buy one piece at a time. Ask the team what a consultation covers when you set one up.
Order a Custom Size, Covering or Configuration
On many ranges, you can order a piece in a different size, fabric, leather or configuration from the one on the floor. That's useful when a display lounge feels right but is too long for your wall, or when you love the shape but want a different covering. Ask the team which options apply to the piece you're looking at.
The trade-off is that you won't sit on your exact combination before it's made. If you're working to a move-in date, ask the team about timing when you order.
What Furniture and Materials Are on Display?
The floor changes as new pieces arrive and others sell. If you're coming to see something in particular, call or email first to check it's here.
Fabric and Leather Lounges
Fabric lounges are worth feeling in person. Run your hand over the fabric, sit in it, and ask how it's cleaned. Most fabrics need regular vacuuming, and spills should be blotted, not rubbed.
With leather, ask whether a lounge is full leather or leather on the seating areas with leatherette elsewhere. Leather wipes clean with a damp cloth but needs conditioning every three to six months. Headrests and arms need wiping more often in warm weather because body oils build up.
Think about sun and heat whichever covering you choose. The Bureau of Meteorology's Medina station recorded an average of 22.7 days a year at or above 35°C. Heat and direct sun dry out leather and can fade fabric over time. If the lounge will sit in afternoon sun from a window, let that shape your choice of colour and covering, or plan for blinds.
Recliners and Theatre Seating
Recliners are worth testing more than any other seat because the mechanism shapes the comfort. Some are manual, some are electric, and some manual models can be upgraded to electric. Take each one through its full range. Check where your head and lower back land, whether the footrest supports your calves, and how easy it is to get up again.
Every recliner needs room to open. Ask the team how much space a model needs behind and in front, and what power an electric model needs, before you commit. Theatre seating suits a dedicated media room or a household that watches together. Where space is tight, or only one person wants to put their feet up, a single recliner may make more sense.
Dining Tables, Chairs and Buffets
Our dining range includes tops in resin-coated marble, in Marri timber, and in ceramic and sintered stone. The mix in our Rockingham showroom varies.
- Marble: the resin coating isn't heatproof, and strong sun can yellow it. Marble suits a dining area out of direct sunlight, used with placemats.
- Marri: a WA hardwood. Every table has its own colour, grain and natural markings. Like any timber, it changes colour in direct sun and needs protecting from heat. It suits you if you like a natural surface that shows its character.
- Ceramic and sintered stone: these tops are made to resist scratches, stains and heat, which makes them a practical choice for busy households.
Sit at the table on the chair you'd pair with it. Check there's room for your knees under the edge, and that the seat stays comfortable through a long meal. Open the buffets too, and look at the shelf heights and whether your platters will fit.
TV Units and Decor
Our Rockingham showroom also has TV units, mirrors, wall art and lighting. With a TV unit, check its length against your screen, the storage behind the doors, and how cables will run out the back.
Mirrors and wall art are hard to judge online because size is everything. Seeing a piece on a wall gives you a truer sense of how much space it takes up. These pieces are also an easier place to start if you're refreshing a room rather than replacing everything.
Which Pieces Suit Homes Around Rockingham?
Rockingham itself has a mix of homes. In the 2021 Census, just over a third of dwellings in the suburb were semi-detached homes, townhouses, flats or apartments. One-person households made up 40.1% of all households. In those spaces, a two-seater or compact lounge, an armchair or recliner, and a smaller dining setting often work better than a full suite. A buffet or console can also add storage that a smaller home may lack.
Across the wider City of Rockingham, 90.4% of occupied homes were separate houses, and 45.2% of families were couples with children. Houses with a separate living room or media room have space for a bigger lounge setup or a row of theatre seating, and a longer dining table that seats everyone.
Planning a Trip to Furniture Stores in Rockingham
- Measure the room and the way in. Note the room's length and width, plus the doorways, hallways and any stairwell the furniture has to pass through. A lounge that fits the room still has to get through the front door.
- Photograph the room and bring samples. Bring a few photos taken from the doorway, plus an offcut of flooring, a paint chip or a cushion you're keeping. They let our team match colours with you on the spot instead of from memory.
- Sketch where the windows and power points are. A rough plan shows where the sun falls and where an electric recliner or lamp can plug in, which quickly rules pieces in or out.
- Bring whoever will use it most. Comfort is personal. A seat that suits one person's height can feel wrong to another, so it's worth everyone sitting on it before you decide.
Questions People Ask Before Visiting
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome whenever we're open, and there are no appointment-only hours. If you'd like dedicated time with our design team to plan a room, you can arrange a design consultation in store, at home or by phone.
Is parking free?
Yes. Rockingham Central has a free car park, there's free street parking nearby, and there are accessible bays. If you'd rather leave the car at home, buses 557, 558 and 559 run from Rockingham Station to the Council Av Before Read St stop by the showroom.
Will everything I've seen online be in the showroom?
Not always. Some pieces are available to order only. The floor also changes as pieces sell and new ones arrive. If you've found something online that you want to sit on or see in person, send our team the product details by phone or email before you visit. We'll tell you whether it's here.
Do you deliver around Rockingham?
Yes. Our delivery area covers Rockingham and surrounding suburbs, including Kwinana, Baldivis, Port Kennedy, Safety Bay, Warnbro and Secret Harbour, and assembly and installation are available too. Standard delivery is to the ground floor, so mention stairs or tricky access when you order. In store, the team can talk you through delivery for your address.
Are you open on public holidays?
On most public holidays, yes: from 11am to 5pm, and on Boxing Day from 9am to 6pm. We're closed on Good Friday, Anzac Day and Christmas Day. Holiday hours can change from year to year. If you're planning to visit around a public holiday, check our Google listing or give us a call.
Is the pop-up in the Rockingham Centre the same store?
No, it's a separate space. Our pop-up is at Shop G023 in the Rockingham Centre, 1 Council Avenue, opposite PetStock, across the road from the showroom. It keeps the same hours as the showroom and has its own phone number, 0404 385 777. This page covers the Rockingham Central showroom, so if you're after something at the pop-up, call it first.

I have been shopping for furniture for the last 3 weeks and went to Adore Home Living Sunday. I was blown away with the whole store experience...and the benchmark for what these stores should be like. I can't recommend enough.
The Adore Gordon Electric Corner Lounge stands out as a top-tier choice for anyone looking to combine modern design with ultimate comfort and functionality. Its thoughtful features and high-quality construction make it a standout piece that can transform any living room into a cozy, stylish retreat.
We had been searching for a dining table for a very long time and thankfully Adore got something we absolutely love with reasonable price! The shop itself got a great selection of furnitures and wall decors. They come with good quality. I’d say with the similar product, the price in other franchises would be 50%-100% higher.
Just bought a caterpillar electric chair. Looks awesome and customer service was great. Julie was so nice and helpful with all the questions and helped us choose the best colour to suit our room. Would review the product when we receive the delivery. 5 stars for the service.
