The most common pairing is a three seater with a two seater, which suits the majority of Perth living rooms and seats five without crowding the floor. Adding a recliner or occasional chair takes you to a three-piece set, which works well in open-plan spaces where seating needs to face more than one direction. 

If your room suits a single continuous run of seating, our chaise and corner lounges sit along two walls and use a corner that would otherwise stay empty. Theatre lounges are configured differently again, with seats in a row and each position built around its own reclining action. 

Measure before you commit. Allow for walkways around the set, check seat depth against how far the room extends from the wall, and factor in the clearance a reclining seat needs behind it.

A sofa set for a living room needs to work with the room, not just fill it. Start with the wall you want the largest piece against, then work out where the second sofa sits in relation to it, whether that is facing across the room or turned in at an angle.

If the living room opens onto a dining area, keeping sight lines clear between the two spaces usually matters more than maximising seat count.

Our sofa sets are available in both leather and fabric, and the choice usually comes down to how the room is used rather than appearance alone. 

Leather wipes clean, does not hold odours, and handles pets and spills with less maintenance than most fabrics. It sits cooler in summer and warms up with use, and it develops a softer surface over time rather than staying uniform. 

Fabric offers a wider range of colours and textures, and tends to feel warmer to sit on straight away. It suits rooms where the sofa set is the main colour element, and removable covers are available on some pieces. 

Both are offered across the same configurations, so choosing one over the other does not limit which pieces you can put together as a set.
